Obituary.
Charles Wesley Christian, whose death we announced last week, was born in Ralls county, Mo., December 3, 1833 and died Tuesday, March 15, 1901 at the age of 70 years, 3 months and 12 days. April 30th, 1857, he was married to Miss Nancy Jane Winston and eight children were born to their union. Of these six, with the wife, survive. Three were with him in his last illness and three, Mrs. W. C. Sanders of Colorado Springs, Col , Charles of Butte, Mont., and Benjamin of Tark City, Utah, were unable to be present.
Mr. Christian was a kind father and husband and a devoted member of the M. E. church South. He lived his life well and laid it down with no regrets. The remains were taken to Bacon Chapel for interment Thursday morning and funeral services were conducted by Dr. T. H. B. Anderson.
