T.S.G.T. Daniel Mark Ream, 58, of Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday March 9, 2014 in his residence. Daniel was born on October 18, 1955 in Terre Haute, to Bobby Ream and Madonna Banyas Ream. Daniel was retired from the Army and Air Force after completing 24 years of service at the 181st Intelligence in Terre Haute, he was the last man to retire from the base. He was a member of the Kriestenstein American Legion Post 104. He enjoyed collecting guns and loved working and tinkering on cars. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jeff Ream. He is survived by his wife, Donnie Diggs Ream whom he married November 9, 2005. He is also survived by four children; Kate Vannoy and her husband Steve of Indianapolis, Captain Maggie Jean Rife and her husband Major Rick Rife of Columbus, IN., Maggie Smith and her husband Thomas of Buford, Georgia, and Jon Kelly and his wife Julie of San Jose. One brother, Bradley Ream and his wife Kay of Catlin, Indiana. Five grandchildren; Will Vannoy, Malcom Smith, Leila Rife, Inara Smith and Karen Vannoy. One nephew, Sam Ream of Terre Haute. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday March 18th, at 11:00 a.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN., 47804. A gathering for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral Home. Graveside Military Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday in Soldiers Circle at Highland Lawn Cemetery conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars post 972.
