Arriving in Vietnam 29 March 1963, Harold was assigned to MABS-12, MAG-12, 1st Marine Air Wing.
Harold was a crew member aboard a C-130 that upon takeoff from the Kai Tak Airport enroute from Hong Kong to Danang hit a sea wall and crashed into the ocean. Harold died as a result of injuries to the body.
Survived by his parents, Harold E and Mary E Brazen and a sister; Deborah Brazen all from Allegheny, Pennsylvania.
