G. W. WEST DIED YESTERDAY NOON
Funeral Services Will Be Held Wednesday Afternoon From the Home
George Washington West passed away yesterday at 12:45 p.m. at his home at 406 North B street following a few day's illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 oclock (sic) at the home in charge of Rev. Harvey E. Butler. Interment will be at Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. West was 62 years, 4 moths and 18 days old and was born at Pella, Iowa. He has been employed at the Harper Brush works. Besides his wife (sic. Florence Olive Phipps West), he leaves three children, Mrs. Sheridan Hines of Kansas City, Edward Raymond West of Casper, Wyo., and Mrs. Harold Six of Lockridge. Two brothers, Robert and David, and two sisters, Mrs. E. W. Harrison of Boone and Mrs. James McIntire of Des Moines also survive.
