Lola L. Jenson, 75, of Janesville, died at Mercy Hospital on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, following a short illness. Lola was born on May 24, 1930, near Delavan, WI, the daughter of Ross and Florence (Feirn) Roberts. She graduated from Delavan High School and attended cosmetology school in Madison. She was employed as a C.N.A. at the Madison Veterans Hospital prior to her marriage to Sidney Jenson, which took place on Sept. 29, 1951. In 1953 they started Midwest Tree and Excavating, Inc. Following Sid's death on Dec. 18, 1992, Lola became president of the company, continuing to operate it with her family until her death. Mrs. Jenson was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Women of the Moose #477, La Prairie Grange, the Janesville TOPS Club, and was active at the Janesville Senior Center. Lola is survived by 3 sons: Myron (Shelly) Jenson of Janesville, Marvin (Nancy) Jenson of Whitewater (Johnstown Center) and Mark Jenson of Janesville; 6 grandchildren: Ross Jenson, Lyndsay Jenson, John Jenson, Cody Jenson, Jennie (David) Scarborough and John Clark; and a great-granddaughter, Emma Scarborough. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcia Jenson.
