Loretta Charlotte Lein, 89, a longtime Janesville resident, passed away Tuesday evening, Dec. 6, 2005, at her daughter's home, with whom she resided, in Beloit, WI. She was born on Dec. 17, 1915, in Mimbern, IA, the daughter of the late Robert C. & Lena B. (Smith) Langfitt. She was married to Raymond L. Muetzel, and later married Gilford Lein. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Loretta was a very loving Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma, and loved nothing more than spending time with her family! She also very much enjoyed reading, playing cards, and also working on puzzles. She is survived by her 4 children: Darlene (Loren) Nelson of Beloit, Joseph (Suzee) Muetzel of Des Moines, IA, Sharon (Jerry) Wolf of Neenah, WI, and Jerry (Barbara) Muetzel of Janesville; her 2 sisters, Opal Wagner of California and Freida Krutilek of Nebraska; her 4 grandchildren: Cindy Wolf, Tim (Mary) Wolf, Michael (Sandy) Muetzel, and Matthew (Tammy) Muetzel; her 5 great-grandchildren: Ryan and Steven Wolf, and Austin, Lauren, and Jessica Muetzel; and by many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands; her daughter, Gloria Muetzel; and by 17 brothers and sisters.
