Bob E. Clement, age 82, formerly of 1934 Gershwin Dr., died Mon., Oct 27, 2003 at Rock Haven Nursing Home. He was born on July 24, 1921 in Janesville and was the son of Otto and Della (Worley) Clement. A lifelong Janesville resident he married Mable Rinehart. He later married Ruth Casper-Burdick in 1983 in Janesville. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Bob was employed as an Engineer at Fairbanks Morse in Beloit. He was a Life Member of the VFW, enjoyed fishing, carpentry and building houses.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Clement; 6 children: Bill (Jeanne) Clement of Peshtigo, WI, Douglas (Sandy) Clement of Marshall, WI, Phillip (Peggy) Clement of Ft. Atkinson, WI, Tim (Sue) Clement of Clyman, WI, Cynthia (Steve) Leikness of Ft. Atkinson and Betty (Pat) Ryan of Milton; 3 step-children: Donica Dampier of Janesville, Rhonda Sagaitis of Milton and Penny Nordberg of Janesville; 22 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Howard; and 2 sisters, Gladys Slamer and Bea Kislia.
