Joseph Cook

Dillsburg, April 18. - While visiting at the residence of his son, William E. Cook, Enola, Joseph Cook, of near this place, became ill about eight weeks ago, and died this morning. Up until the time of his illness Mr. Cook resided with another son, Niles A. Cook, of near here, from whose residence the funeral will be held. He was aged 71 years. Mr. Cook, who was a retired farmer, is survived by the following children: William E., Enola; James H., Brandtsville; Niles A., near here; Curtis W., Beavertown, and Mrs. Elmer McClure, near here. He is also survived by one brother, Walker, Mount Top, and two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Harboldt, York, and Mrs. Hannah Arnold, Mechanicsburg. The body will be brought from Enola Friday, and services will be held at Niles Cook's residence, with concluding services in the Dillsburg Lutheran church (sic), and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
