Services for Frances Morgan Gillis, 97, of Sturgis were Feb. 9, 2014, at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church in Sturgis.
She was born Nov. 23, 1916, to the late W.E. and Jennie Mae Hartness Morgan of Sturgis.
Mrs. Gillis was a member of Morgan Chapel Baptist Church. She died Feb. 7, 2014.
Survivors include six children, Betty Brown, Mary Bridges and Gail Gillis of Starkville, and James M. Gillis, Jennie Hill and William Gillis of Sturgis; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to The Baptist Children's Village.
Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman was in charge of arrangements.
