Charles A. Adams, 84, of Ewing, died Friday afternoon at 5 in St. Mary Hospital In Quincy, where he had been a patient since Monday.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 17, at 2 in the Ball Funeral Home in Ewing and burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery, west of Ewing. Rev. Albert Baumgartner of Lewistown was in charge of the services.
Mr. Adams was born near Gilead, in Lewis County, April 16, 1868, a son of Caldwell and Susan Bourn Adams. He was never married. A sister. Mrs. Belle Briscoe of west of Ewing, survives.
Pallbearers were: Tom Hardy, Arthur Decker, Will Chance, William Mensendick, Will Withrow and Fred Fohrman. Mr. Margaret Willows and Mr. Maybelle Lillard sang for the services.
