Mabel Margaret Konkin of Calgary passed away on Monday, June 6, 2005 at the age of 82 years.
Mabel was born on November 6, 1922 in Brilliant, BC to Joseph and Helen Pereverzoff. She married John Peter Konkin on December 21, 1942 in Calgary.
Mabel is survived by her five children and their spouses, Ruth and Stan Clay, Lois and Keith Chalkley, Marie Konkin Vass, Kenneth Konkin, and Heather Konkin and Robin Ardnt; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and her three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Helen Faminow, Pauline and Arnold Aylesworth, and Marida and Mac Pittman. Mabel was predeceased by her parents; husband John; daughter Betty; and brother-in-law Paul Faminow.
