One Vickers Wellington, 69Sqdn, WI- , NC555, crashed at APELDOORN at the "Waterloosche weg now Tooropstraat". The airplane left Melsbroek (B.58) airfield for a recce flight. The 5 airman were KIA and they are all buried at "De Heidehof" cemetery in APELDOORN.
