to the late Thurman Douglas and late Sarah (Bebout)
Douglas. He married Geraldine Lucille Heiser on March 22,
1958 and she preceded him in death on February 4, 2011.
Ted served his community and enlisted in the Indiana
National Guard. He was employed by International Harvester
in Ft. Wayne and also in Springfield, Ohio before retiring.
Ted is survived by a son, Steven Douglas of Seattle,
Washington; sister, Beverly Walker of Bemidji, Minnesota;
sister-in-law, Sue Douglas of Decatur, Indiana; and three
grandchildren, Atanah Bosch, Adrian Douglas, and Tayler
Douglas.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister,
Connie Douglas; brother, Jerry Douglas.
A private graveside interment was held. Preferred
memorials are to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home of Fort
Wayne, Indiana. Arrangements are by Zwick & Jahn Funeral
Home, in Decatur, Indiana.
