Haacke, Mary Margaret (nee Kelly) –Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Donald Haacke (2012). Loving mother of Susan LaFrance, David (Joanne), Nancy Waddell (Hugh) and Linda Taylor. Cherished grandma of Sara, Meggan, Taylor, Lawson Waddell, Lindsay, Shannon, Holly, Ryan Haacke, Buddy, Chloe, Caitlyn Taylor, John Veitch, Alex and Brittany LaFrance. Great grandmother of Max, Robert and Kayden. Predeceased by her parents William and Lillian Kelly; brothers, William, Thomas, Ernest, Joseph and sisters, Francis, Katherine and Freda. There will be a Celebration of Mary's Life at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE (2510 Bensfort Rd.) on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Reception to follow. A private family interment will take place at Little Lake Cemetery. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Special thanks to Dr. Vajid for his kindness and compassion and to the nurses on B3 for all their care.
