Margaret M. Coles, 94, of Brighton Township, passed away Saturday evening, March 29, 2014 at Friendship Ridge, surrounded by her family.
Born January 27, 1920 in Beaver, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret Biesenkamp Bixler, and formerly attended Bunker Hill Baptist Church, Center Township. She worked as a tester for Westinghouse for fifteen years. Margaret loved to roller-skate, but her greatest passion was animals; she loved her dogs and cats.
Preceding her in death, besides her parents, were her husband, Thomas H. Coles in 1956, an infant son, Bruce, two sisters, Blanche Akin and Dorothy Smith, and a son-in-law, Frank P. Parker.
Surviving is a son, Thomas R. Coles, Brighton Township, a daughter, Sandra L. Parker, Bridgewater, a brother, Ralph Bixler, Jr., Brighton Township, a grandson, Thomas F. Parker, Bridgewater, and three step-grandchildren, Joy Parker, San Clemente, CA, Frank F. Parker, Patterson Township, and Debby (Danny) Jurich, Brighton Township, and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver. Her step-grandson, Reverend Frank F. Parker, will conduct the service. Private interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
