A graveside service for Winifred J. Lane, 90, of Newark will be held at a later date in Otterbein Cemetery in Westerville.
Winifred died Jan. 6, 2004, at the Selma Markowicz Care Center in Newark. She was born Aug. 15, 1913, in Dennison, Ohio, to the late George and Bertha Ella (Conaway)McFeaters.
She worked as a supervisor at the Bureau of Employment Services.
She is survived by a daughter, Joy (John) Henson of Utica; three grandchildren, Keith (Becky) Henson of Washington, Brenda Henson and Brian Young of Westerville, and J.T. Henson of Utica; five great-grandchildren, Mandy, Andy, Dimitri, Angela and Christian; two great-great-grandchildren, Codey and Isiah; niece, Bettie Davis of Newark; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dick; and a sister, Dora.
