Marcella Haynes Giles, age 73, entered into eternal rest on March 30, 2014, Pearland, Texas with family by her side. Marcella was born on April 24, 1940. She loved gardening, cooking, quilting, sewing and thrifty antique shopping.
Marcella was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will always be remembered for her love of family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Keathel and Hazel Haynes and her husband, A B Giles.
Marcella is survived by her three loving sons: Jaime (Barbara) Giles, Ozzie (Delores'Chip') Giles and Albert (Sharon)Giles. Two Adorable grandchildren Jennifer Marcella and Alexander Bryce Giles. Siblings Irma Jean Haynes and Keathel Haynes Jr.(Wife Esther). Favorite cousins Ivra Lee (Toni) Irving and Lauren Ann Scott (Skeeter). Extended granddaughters Caressa, Krystal and Chasity as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church, 5445 Greenwood Dr. Corpus Christi, Texas, with Pastor Derrick Reaves, officiating.
Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum
