She was the daughter of Herbert J.B. Willis and Katherine Westervelt Willis.
In August 1925, she married John W. Black at the home of her parents on Norman Place at Tenafly, New Jersey.
They were the parents of three children.
On March 15, 1980 she married Colonel (retired) Alvin A. Heidner at the home of her son-in-law, Theodore L. Miller at Wayne, Pennsylvania.
Angenette Willis Black Heidner was born in New Jersey, the daughter of Herbert and Katherine Westervelt Willis. She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Wayne, Pennsylvania and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She died at age 94 on Sunday, May 14, 2000 at Paoli Memorial Hospital in Paoli, Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by her first husband, John W. Black and her second husband, Alvin A. Heidner; her two sons, Donald A. Black [1929-1984] and John W. Black and one sister, Amy W. Frobisher [1897-1984]. Funeral services were held at Alleva Funeral Home at 1724 East Lancaster Avenue in Paoli. Survivors included one daughter, Catherine Black Miller [1934-2014], of Wayne, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Interment was at the West Point Military Academy at West Point, New York. Memorial contributions were suggested to a charity of choice.
