Mrs. James M, Liggett.
Ida, wife of James M. Liggett, died at her home in Fort Wayne, Saturday, March 21, 1903 aged 41 years.
Deceased was the daughter of Jerome Thompson and grand daughter of the late Samuel W. Miller of this city.
She was born in West township, grew to womanhood there and before she was twenty years old was united in marriage with her now bereaved husband who then resided at North Liberty. Many of the middle aged men and women of Plymouth recollect her as a beautiful, intelligent young lady who seemed to have a long and happy life before her.
She was a good wife and mother, was patient through a long illness and retained to the last the respect and
esteem of all who knew her.
She leaves a husband, one son, one daughter and many other relatives to mourn her death.
The remains were brought to Plymouth on the 12:18 p. m. train Tuesday and funeral services were held at the M. E. church in this city at 2 p. m. conducted by Rev. D. F. Darwin, of Fort Wayne, and the remains were interred at the cemetery south-west of this city.
