Mrs. Iva Lawrence Fransman, 53, of Mountain View Lane, an employee of the Council of Churches, Utica, died Monday, March 12, 1984, in Faxton Hospital, Utica. Born in Westmoreland on June 2, 1930, she was a daughter of Thomas and Nora Tanner Lawrence. On Sept. 3, 1949, she married Robert H. Fransman in Rome. Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Kristine) LaCombe, Remsen, Mrs. Leonard (Karen) Bragg, Frankfort, and Mrs. Thom (Audrey) Evans, Whitesboro, two sons, Robert A. Fransman, Cold Brook, and Larry E. Fransman, Hinckley; three sisters, Mrs. Hugh (Adele) Cheney, Ithaca, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Evans, Vernon, and Mrs. Robert (Ada) Block, Dunkirk, a brother, Arthur Lawrence, Freemont, Calif., and nine grandchildren.
