He then married Edith O'Donnell on September 5, 1925 in Galesburg, IL. She survives, with one daughter, Joanna. Also surviving are one sister Mrs. Bertha Wiese of St. Louis and two brothers, Louis and Edgar of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. He was a member of Trinty Church. Aspen Grove Cemetery.
