Stang, Larry George Peter
Larry George Peter Stang, beloved husband of Mrs. Esther Stang of Calgary, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2005 at the age of 66 years.
Larry was born on December 31, 1938 in Macklin, SK and moved to Camrose, AB with his parents when he was a child. He moved to Calgary in the late 1950Œs and began his barbering career in 1962. Larry married Esther Schwartz on May 18, 1974. He loved playing his accordion and also enjoyed football and hockey. Larry enjoyed family reunions and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his loving wife Esther, Larry is survived by his two daughters and a son-in-law, Shawna Stang of Calgary and Pearl and Keith Miller of Lethbridge, AB. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Shawn and Shania Stang and Oliver and Cooper Miller; his ten brothers and sisters and their families, Eddie and Marg Stang, Mary Stang, Alex Stang and Liz, Arnie and Bonnie Stang, Ida Zieffle, Joe and Alvina Stang, Beatrice and Robert Krottner, Willie and Arlene Stang, Leo and Phyllis Stang, and Patsy and Leo Stang; as well as numerous other family and friends. Larry was predeceased by his brother Peter Stang; and his sister Louise Young.
