Ernest L. "Lee" Campbell, 76, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in IU Health LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte, IN.

Mr. Campbell was born August 12, 1937 in Perry County, KY to McGoffin and Gertrude (Yeager) Campbell and lived in the area most of his life. He was a truck driver for the Teamster's Union and a member of the United Baptist Church and the Teamster's Union.

On July 30, 1994 in Hamlet, IN, he was married to Mazel Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Mazel; six children, Randy (Andrea) Campbell of Francesville, Ernie (Robin) Campbell of Knox, Barbara Campbell of North Judson, David (Kathy) Campbell of Peru, Mary Frasure of Winamac, and Paul Campbell of Delong; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Eugene Campbell of Hamlet.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Newton, Harlin, Lonnie, and Ray; and sisters, Annie, Ruby, Naomi, and Mary.

Services entrusted to Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel.
