She was a graduate of Mexico High Scholl class of 1946. She was a member of the Mexico Congregational Church and the State of Maine Pythian Sisters.
Survivors include two sons; Chesley Abbott of Roxbury, ME and Michael Abbott and his wife Penny Lynn of Cornville, ME; two daughters Peggy Marcoux and her husband Gerry of Dixfield, Jo-Ann Surette of Lewiston, ME; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, several greatgreat grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Norman who died in Rumford, Maine on January 26, 2005, a daughter Donna Rouse,three sons James, Dennis and Kenneth and a sister Doris Pinkham.
