Timothy J. Mulford, 60, of Leaf River, died Friday April 4, 2014 in the Serenity Hospice Home in Oregon. He was born January 7, 1954 in Cedarville, CA the son of William D. & Shirley (Thomas) Mulford. He married Becky Gyorkos in Byron on Sept. 11, 1992. Tim was a member of Baileyville Baptist Church, the Leaf River Lions Club, and the German Valley Snow Riders. He served as mayor of Leaf River from 2001 to 2009 and retired in December of 2012, after 34 years of service, from Frontier Phone Company. Survivors include his wife; 4 daughters; 1 son; 13 grandchildren with 2 more on the way; and 2 brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Mark. Funeral services will be held Wed. April 9, 2014 at 10:30 AM in Baileyville Baptist Church with Pastor Alan Cassel officiating. Burial will be in Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 PM in the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 110 S. 7th St., Oregon. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
