Mrs. Ella Rainwater, wife of Tommie Rainwater, departed this life Saturday, February 3rd, following an illness of tuberculosis. She was the daughter of Willie Burge, of near Faubush. Besides her husband, she leaves two small children, aged 3 years and 16 months respectively; a father; five brothers; and two sisters to mourn their loss. Her mother preceded her to the grave thirteen months ago. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, and was laid to rest in the New Hope Cemetery Monday, February 5th.

In addition to her father, husband and children, she leaves several brothers and sisters to mourn their loss. Her father, one brother, Oscar Burge, and sister, Grace, were at her bedside. She was laid to rest in New Hope Cemetery Monday, February 5th, 1923. The entire community extends sympathy to the father, husband, and little children. Her mother preceded her to the grave some several months ago.
