Arthur Bailey, 69 years old died at his home on east Cranberry Street, Richwood, last Saturday morning from a complication of diseases. Mr. Bailey formerly lived on the old Webster road eight miles east of Summersville, where he operated a farm and raised his family.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Sparks Bailey, one son, Earl and his daughter, Manilla Bailey, of Richwood. Four brother and three sisters also sruvive.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 12, at Sparks Chapel and interment was in the Sparks cemetery at Persinger. Rev. A. Beckett, Richwood M.E. church officiated and the White Funeral home was in charge of the burial.
