HERBERT DEINES

Herbert Constantine Deines of Grand Junction,died Monday at the Veteran's Hospital there, where he had been a patient for three weeks. He had been in ill health for four and a half years.

Deines was born May 11, 1912 in Russell, Kan. where he was reared. He had worked as a uranium miner in Uravan.

Surviving is a son, Stewart Niel Deines of Heron, Mont.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Patty Kardokus also of Heron; four sisters, Mrs. Fred (Helen) Dietz of Greeley, Mrs. William (Martha) Mai of Sharon Springs, Kan.; Mrs. Fred (Marie) Koleber of Greeley, and Mrs. William (Mollie) Berschauer of Wakeeney, Kans.; three brothers, Emanuel Deines of Olympia, Wash.; Paul Deines of Port Angeles, Wash., and S. H. Deines of Pueblo; one half sister, Mrs. Les (Elfrieda) Graham of Seattle, Wash., and a half brother, Dan Deines of Olympia, Wash.

Servies will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Adamson Memorial Chapel with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
