Mrs. Ethel Mae Ellet, 64, of Grand Tower, died at 2pm. Monday December 26. 1960 at home. She had been ill for two years. Mrs. Ellet was born July 7, 1896, in Grand Tower, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reuban Qualls. She was a member of the First Methodist church of Grand Tower. She leaves husband, Everett Ellet, sons, Charles R. and Lanny Ellet of Grand Tower, daughters, Mrs. Thelma Ellis of Murphysboro, Mrs. Mildred Teller, and Mrs. Robert York, both of Granite City, Sisters, Mrs. Theodore Rose of Murphysboro, Mrs. Grace Burns of Granite City and Mrs. Bessie Furgeson of Buffalo, N.Y. and brother, Charles Qualls of Grand Tower. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Grand Tower Methodist Church, the Rev. William Lirley and the Rev. Earl Black will officiate and burial will be in Walker Hill Cemetery in Grand Tower. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Van Natta Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Tower.
