William, 90, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Arbor Woods Assisted Living in Jackson. He was the son of Charles J. and Ada (Bartlett) Robinson.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II in the Battle of the Bulge, and was involved with the drum and bugle corps in New Jersey. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Stockbridge where he taught Sunday school, enjoyed singing in the choir, and was instrumental in the construction of the education building.

He was also involved with the Masons and the Lions Club and enjoyed spending time with his children, teaching them how to canoe.

Surviving are his children: Carol (Barry) Baker and John W. Robinson, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a sister, Edythe Derbyshire.

He was preceded in death by two wives, Lorena (Warner) Robinson and Maxine (Weed) Robinson, and his siblings: Charles, Richard, and Raymond Robinson, Ruth White, and Dorothy Williams.

A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the First Presbyterian Church of Stockbridge.
