"Mary B. McFarland, 80, of 2123 S. Arlington St., died Friday at Akron General Medical Center. Born in Monteagle, Tenn., Mrs. McFarland lived in Akron 49 years. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She leaves her husband Lawrence; daughters Mrs. Ruth Simms and Mrs. Willie Robinson, both of Akron; brothers James and Clarence Leewren and sister Mrs. Lee Rollins, all of Monteagle. Services will be at 1 p. m. Monday at the Church of God of Prophecy, 847 Lakewood dr. Burial will be in East Liberty cemetery, Greensburg, O. Friends may call at the Schermesser funeral home from 7 to 9 p. m. today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Sunday, and noon to 1 p. m. Monday at the church."
