Daisy Fern Pawley Enos-Schmitz (1897 - 1988) was her step mother for 35 years.

My mother was a strong woman. I am honoring her for her achievements. Below are just a mere mention of her achievements. She always put others in front. She being the oldest girl in her family, continued to provide love and care to her other siblings after the death of her mother. She put herself through high school and appeared in court for custody of her 3 year old brother. She coordinated the reunion of her siblings with their father who was a thousand miles away. She then raised her own children and continued to give comfort and support to their children and grandchildren until her death. Even now she still sets an example for others through her past life. A great example for other women to celebrate this day and every day.
