Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2014 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Reverend Hilton Gillespie and Reverend Steve Hood will officiate with interment to follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.
Born December 27, 1927, in Springfield, OH, Mr. Berry was the son of the late Charles O. Berry, Sr. and Mary Block Berry. He served our country in the Army Air Corps and retired from the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany. He was very proud to be the lead singer with The Harmony Boys for many years. His passion was singing the gospel in hopes of leading others to Jesus. He was a registered song evangelist and in past years had served as the minister of music at Albany First Church of The Nazarene. Mr. Berry was a caring funeral assistant with Hall and Hall Funeral Home where he had the opportunity to minister to many families. He was a faithful member of Albany First Church of The Nazarene and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Surely our loss is Heaven's gain.
