Linda Lockhart Anderson, 63, of Spring Hill, KS passed away April 8, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Friday, April 11, 2014 at Life Spring Church, 206 N. Linda was born September 5, 1950 in Alamosa, CO to Leo Edward and Ruth Alice (Wight) Lockhart. She grew up in Las Animas, CO where she married Ray Anderson on Aug. 16, 1970. They moved to Spring Hill seven years ago. Linda earned her BA at Ottawa University in 1972. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Barnds Brothers in Overland Park for six years. Linda was a member of Life Spring Church and enjoyed reading and scrapbooking. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father. Linda is survived by her husband, Ray, of the home; children: Krista and husband Chris Bivens, Overland Park, KS and Brian and wife Jolene Anderson, Pueblo, CO; her mother, Ruth, Las Animas, CO; grandchildren: Zachary, Brayden, Kaylynne, Bradley and Austin; siblings: Laura and husband Doug Bennett, Colorado Springs, CO, John and wife Jerolyn Lockhart, Las Animas, CO and James and wife Carol Lockhart, Las Animas, CO.
