Hazel Francis "Short" Boggs, 94, of Fenwick Mountain, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at her home after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Denzil E. Boggs.She will be missed and remembered fondly by her five children, Annette Griffin, Gary Boggs, Mancel Boggs, Faith Snyder and Linda Murphy. She had a special love for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her many friends.Service will be held at Macedonia Methodist Church, Fenwick Mountain, on Friday, April 11. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon. The "Celebration Service of her Life" will begin at noon with the ringing of the church bells. Pastor Damon Hanshaw will be officiating. Burial will be in Elliott/Boggs Cemetery, Maysel. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Macedonia Methodist Church
