"Jacob Booth, the lineal ancestor of George F Booth, was born April 9, 1770, and in May 1797, married Lucinda Richmond of Chesterfield, Massachusetts, when she was a girl of seventeen years. Their children were: Jacob, born 1798; Lucinda, 1799; Elizabeth, 1800; Roxanna, 1802; John, 1804; William S., 1807; Richmond J, 1808; Philander, 1811; Mary A., 1813; Emily, 1818; Charles H., 1822; Abraham, 1823; Watson, 1826. Both Jacob and Lucinda (Richmond) Booth lived to the advanced age of ninety years."
