Sisters, Ore. - Herbert L. Creamer, 66, died Friday, April 24, in Bend, Ore.
He was a native of Madera and a resident of Sisters, Ore. for 11 years. He was a retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer and served in World War II and Korea. He was a retired rancher and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Creamer of Sisters, Ore.; two daughters, Linda Furr of Charleston, Ark. and Diane Comer of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Leo Creamer and Willis Creamer, both of Madera; two sisters, Phyllis Parker and Betty Smith, both of Madera; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at the First Christian Church in Madera followed by graveside services at Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
