Visitation will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014, Prior to the Service from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Waller Funeral Home.
Born in Cherokee, Alabama to the late Thomas Edmund and Dora Pauline DuBois Askew.B
Mr. Askew worked as a Broadcast Systems Engineer for many years.
Early in his Career he worked in Oxford, MS at the University of Mississippi as Chief Broadcasting Systems Engineer; and then later at other Broadcasting Facilities, completing his career at The Weather Channel.
He was Member of First Presbyterian Church in Oxford, MS.
He also enjoyed Serving as a Mason.
Mr. Askew is survived by his Wife of 31 years, Mary Ann White Askew of Powder Springs, GA; a Daughter, Crystal Askew Wiece and Husband, Michael, of Sagamore Hills, OH; two Sons, Mark Askew and Wife, Tammy,of Brunswick, OH; and Rob Askew of Powder Springs, GA; one Sister, Julia Askew Moss of Florence, AL; and 5 Grandchildren.
