William E. Raymond, age 79, of Port Huron died Friday, July 28, 2006 in Marwood Nursing and Rehab after a short term illness.
He was born November 6, 1926 in Wallaceburg, Ontario. He lived in Ohio for much of his life, and for the past 4 years has lived in Port Huron.
He married Lillian Miller in 1945. She preceded him in January 1978.
William (Bill) is survived by 5 sons, William E. (Barbara) Raymond of Port Huron Twp., David (Sharon) Raymond of Smiths Creek, Elroy Raymond of Port Huron, Michael (Marilyn) Raymond of Port Huron, and Robert (fiancé' Hazel) Raymond of Port Huron, on brother, Fred (Gloria) Raymond of Sterling Heights, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Alta.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Smith Family Funeral Home - South, 1230 7th Street. Friends may visit with family beginning at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
