Martin H. Stein, III passed away suddenly in Tallahassee, FL on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.
Marty graduated from Wyalusing Valley High School with the Class of 1963 and spent three years in the Navy from 1963 to 1966.
He worked for 35 years at Procter & Gamble including, the company's Mehoopany plant as well as facilities in Cape Girardeau, MO, Albany, GA and in Germany.
Marty was widely known in the Wyalusing area and highly regarded for his sense of humor and endearing personality.
He leaves behind four adult children:
Martin H. Stein, IV, wife, Paula and their daughters, Ashley Stevens, 26, Faith Stein, 13, and Grace Stein, 10.
A son, Todd Keith Stein, his wife, Julie and their son, Maxwell.
A son, Shayne Karl Stein, his wife, Sue, their daughter, Katherine and sons, Morgan, Shayne, Logan, Wyatt and Noah.
A daughter, Heather Danielle Stein and her sons, Zack and Dennis, Jr.
Other survivors include: a brother, Brian Stein; sisters, Joy Stein, Renee Christensen and Lori Carpenter and stepsons, Brandon and Connor Butler.
He was predeceased by his parents, Martin Stein, II (1990) and Marie (2000), formerly of Spring Hill; brothers, Glen (1990) and Randal (2000) and a sister, Marcia (1991).
A memorial service will be held at the Braintrim Baptist Church in Laceyville at noon on Friday, April 18.
