Adran K Lemmon was born March 25, 1838 in Greene Co. Indiana. He moved at an early age with his parents to Illinois where he was married to Nancy Jane McHatton on 15 Jan, 1862 in Christian County. He and his family went on west to Saline County, Missouri in 1865, where he lived the rest of his life. He died July 25, 1909, aged 71 yrs and 4 mos. of heart trouble at his home near Elmwood, leaving his wife, Nancy, and two sons, William and Charles Lemmon. An infant son, Robert Lemmon, died in 1875 at age 1 yr., and also a daughter Anna at age 29 in 1896,
