Seager O. Batson, 90, of Charleston died April 25, 1999, at home. He was a retired appliance department manager from Montgomery Ward with 36 years' service and was a member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. Surviving: wife, Veva Bush Batson; daughters, Deloris Seckman of Charleston, Sandy Ashworth of San Antonio; stepsons, John Bush of Dunbar, Rodney Bush of Mobile, Ala.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
