ETHEL COOK
Ethel Cook, 65, 1305 Lakeview Ave, died Sunday morning at Boone County Hospital. She was born Feb. 3, 1911, in Boone County, to A. Charles (Charles Elgin) and Mamie Stephens Coats. Mrs. Cook married William Ray Cook on Dec. 24, 1926. She was a member of the Olivet Christian Church, the Harg Wayside Extension Club and other volunteer organizations. Survivors include her husband, two sons, C. Gene Cook, 1820 Kathy Drive, and Larry, 5406 Clark Lane, two daughters, Mrs. Robert G. (Mary) Richardson, 306 Phyllis Ave, and Mrs. James B. (Almeda) Warriner, Wyandotte, Mich., two brothers, Raymond Coats, 1124 St. Christopher St., and William Coats, Chilicotte, four sisters, Katherine Fisher, 206 Ripley St, Bertha Gloss, E. Hartford, Conn., Mrs. Cecil Little, Fayetteville, N.C., and Norma Storey, Lincoln, Neb., 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 1217 Highway 40 W. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Ellis Fischel Cancer Research Center. Friends may call at Memorial Funeral Home after 1 p.m. today. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
