Mrs. Banks a former housekeeper for Newark City Schools passed away Saturday. She was born July 26th, 1928 in Licking County to Chester and Margaret (Gearhart) Ashcraft. She is survived by 4 daughters and a son; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; one brother and two sisters. She was proceeded in death by her husband and 2 daughters.
