Raymond W. Cox, 91, a resident of the Janesville Health Care Center, formerly of 333 Madison, died Friday morning in Mercy Hospital.
Born Oct. 24, 1887, in Janesville, he married Florence Hess on Sept. 25, 1937. She died in February 1976. A World War I Army veteran, Cox was a member of the VFW and World War I Veterans, Rock County Barracks. He was employed by F.W. Means Towel Service for many years until retirement.
Surviving are a brother, Harold of San Diego, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Strampe and Mrs. Genevieve More, both of Janesville...
