Robert Tribble Holloway's parents were: John Saunders Holloway born 1836 in Graves County, Kentucky, died about 1872 in Palestine, Anderson County, Texas and Catherine Elizabeth "Kate" Tribble born about 1842 in Kentucky, died before 1872 in Palestine, Anderson County, Texas. They married about 1862 in Kentucky. I cannot find exact records on John Saunders nor Catherine Elizabeth Tribble Holloway. I have been unable to find death dates but I found a record stating John Saunders Holloway had a Will which stated his wife, Kate, wanted her sister, Mrs. R.D. Read to take care of their three children after her death. I found the 1870 Census where they lived in Palestine, Anderson County, Texas and the 1880 Census where two of their children, Helen and Robert Tribble Holloway were living with the R.D. Read family in south Graves County, Kentucky. Hattie Holloway found on the 1870 Census was born in about 1868 but I found no record of her death and she was not living with the Read family in Graves County, Kentucky in 1880.
Robert Tribble and Annie Brown Holloway had four children: Clayton Sanders Holloway 1894-1925, Laura E Holloway born 1898, Nell Jones Holloway 1902-2005 and Tribble B Holloway born in 1905.
