EDGERTON - Lucille M. "Boots" Ogden, age 72, of 821 George Ave., died Tues., Dec. 23, 1997 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. She was born in Waupun, WI, April 10, 1925, the daughter of Ernst and Ida Looser. She had attended the Methodist Hospital Nursing School after graduating from high school and on May 10, 1947 she married C. Earl Ogden. She had been employed for many years as a Registered Nurse at Edgerton Memorial Community Hospital and at the Edgerton Clinic. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and loved the Packers.
Her survivors include her husband, C. Earl "Tube" Ogden; a son, Richard E. Ogden of Morro Bay, CA; a daughter, Jackie (William) Bliss of Janesville; a brother, John (Jean) Looser of Hanover, PA; 2 sisters, Irene Looser and Doris (Dick) Hardrath, both of Sonora, CA; 4 grandchildren: Devon Bliss of Janesville, Mark (Jenny) Adams and Sarah (Fiancé, Michael Yu), both of Madison, and Coral Ogden of Morro Bay, CA; 2 great-grandchildren, Emily and Evan Adams of Janesville; nieces and nephews. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 daughters, Beth Ogden and Kay Adams.
Graveside services were held Mon., Dec. 29, 1997 at 11:00 a.m. at Fassett Cemetery, Edgerton. Bruni-Nygaard-Ward Funeral Home, Edgerton, is handling the arrangements.
