Edna was born in Madison County on May 2, 1926, where she has lived all her life. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. She was a Homemaker who loved gardening, quilting, canning, being outside working and her family.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Shetley, siblings; sister, Lucille, brothers, Harley and Manson Holt, daughter in-law, Nancy Shetley.
Surviving are her children, Eugene Shetley (Donna), Joyce Shetley of Leicester, Bobby Shetley, Dale Shetley (Sandy), Faye Lawson (Ronnie) and Wanda Parks; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, fourteen great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2016 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Ebbs Cemetery.
