Florence Mae Vine, 84, of Albany, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at the New Glarus Home in New Glarus, WI. Florence was born on April 26, 1921 in Monticello, WI, the daughter of Jacob S. and Della Mae (Staley) Disch. She married Roy Charles Vine on Feb. 8, 1952, in Janesville, WI. Florence was a member of Zwingli United Church of Christ in Monticello. She enjoyed gardening, camping, traveling, doing puzzles and word searches. She loved cats. Florence is survived by her 4 children: Mary (Dennis Peterson) Babler of Cambridge, WI, June (Albert) Schneider of Albany, WI, Betsy (Walter) Vanderdrink of Lake Elsinore, CA, and Bernard (Tersea) Vine of Albany, WI; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; 3 stepgrandchildren and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy on April 10, 1987; her parents; a brother, Willis Disch in 1994; and a sister in 1927.
