Surviving are one son, Dr. J.B.; one daughter, Mrs. Ben (Phyllis) Tharp; four sisters, Ethel Black, Dr. S.M. (Velda) Garrett, Ileatha Livingston and Frances Abbott; five grandsons; and two great-grandsons.
